Zoom Instructions

 

Join from a computer:

  1. If this is the first time you are using Zoom please download the Zoom Client for Meetings program to your computer. Do this prior to your appointment as it may take several minutes.
    • Click on the file (bottom left corner of the web browser) when it is done downloading.
    • Then click Run to complete the installation.
  1. Check your email inbox and junk box for your visit invite.
  2. Under Join Zoom Meeting click the URL link to join your visit.
  3. Enter the patient’s first and last name.
  4. You will be assigned to a waiting room or put on hold until your healthcare provider starts the visit. Please wait.
  5. If you cannot download or run the program:
    • Download the Zoom Cloud Meetings application (app) to your Apple/Android smartphone or tablet following the instructions for “Join from a smartphone”
    • OR click Join from Your Web Browser using Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge.

 

Join from a Smart Phone:

  1. Please download the Zoom application from the App Store before your appointment. You do not need to have a Zoom account, but you must have the app downloaded. Please do this prior to your scheduled appointment as it may take several minutes. It is free to download.
  2. Check your email inbox or junk box for your visit invite.
  3. Under Join Zoom Meeting tap the URL link to join your visit.
  4. A box will pop up. Please enter the patient’s first and last name. Several automated questions will pop up. You will need to allow Zoom access to both your phone’s microphone and camera.
  5. You will be assigned to a waiting room or put on hold until your healthcare provider starts the visit. Please wait.
